|Members of the Guild are now
offered the option of having a single web page hosted at this site. Members
have the opportunity to choose from several different designs. Links to
sample pages from which to choose are found below.
Since this is a new option,
some of the details will be fleshed out on this page as time passes, and
we see what works. Until then, here are a few tips to help you get started:
As the process becomes more streamlined,
the instructions on this page will be enhanced for greater ease. Good luck
and check the membership directory in the coming weeks to see new member
Choose from the samples below and decide
which design best suits you.
Choose one or two photos of your work
and write the text you'd like to have included in your member page. The
content should be available in electronic format. (Text can be in MS Word,
or included in the body of an email; photos should be in jpg format.)
Consider background and text colors,
preferred fonts and header content. (Simple headers are included in the
price of the page.)
Send an email expressing your interest in having a Guild member web page. You will be
contacted within a few days to discuss the details. Overall, the process
could take a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the timing of
other obligations, and the number of other member orders to be fulfilled.
At the time of contact, you will be given an estimate as to how long before
you can expect your page to be complete.
Send a check for $35.00 ($10.00 for the
Guild, $25.00 for the cost of page development) to Carolina
PO Box 5656 Greensboro,
NC 27435. Payments must be received in order for
the final page to be uploaded for viewing, and link to be added to membership
directory. No pages will be posted to the Guild site without your final
approval. (Please note that additional requested changes after page completion
will incur further fees.)
